Brief

MIT’s new open space at the Kendall Square T-stop is a common good for area students and businesses. However, it should also be an asset to the local residents, both young and old. How might the space be designed, programs developed, staffed, signage posted, and other means to make it an engaging and multigenerational place where chance collisions between old and young are welcome and frequent?
